Coffee Tables

Sometimes it’s the small changes to a room that make a big impact.   Today we explore and share different looks you can achieve with a coffee table.

First we look at the industrial look of the cart coffee table.  These tables are heavy (weighting approx. 130 lbs) but with the heavy weight comes a great look with a big impact.  Ivy has carts available for purchase, if you love this look.

Authentic Factory Cart. Ivy Lane’s carts range from $300-$500 depending on finish.

What’s not to love about the comfortable and practical ottoman coffee table.  This style offers extra seating in a pinch and is easily customized with fabric.  Holly Gagne Interior Design provides Ivy customers with custom-made ottomans through her design studio at Ivy Lane.  Work with Holly to create the perfect ottoman for your home.

How does anyone not notice the big “come back” of the glass coffee table.  This is a great table for small spaces, but not always practical for families with small children.  This is a great option for a small seating room and will give you a very modern, chic look.

We still love the shabby chic coffee table.   These tables seem to tell a story.  Here are a few shabby chic looks that never go out of style.

The vintage trunk makes a great coffee table.  A place to store your boardgames, picture albums, video games, DVDs, etc.  We love the way it looks.

Mid-Century modern has made a come back.  When researching coffee tables that work in a MC room, you can use an ottoman in a bold fabric, a cart painted a solid black or white, a rustic wood with straight lines or glass.  Here are a few pictures we found inspiring.
